Polka-Dot Wasp Moth
Syntomeida epilais

Observation date: September 08, 2019
Date notes: September 8, 2019
Submitted by: ECJones
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: My wife noticed, what she called destructive poisonous caterpillars, on one of her plants. She believes that the plant is a Christmas cactus. It may be a larval moth or butterfly. I would appreciate a definitive identification, if that is possible from the photographs. This particular plant was below our tamarind tree.
