Observation notes: I found this moth on the exterior wall of my work in the parking lot. it is a beautiful moth I had not ever seen one like it before. it was quite calm and readily climbed onto my hand, once there is sat still for several minutes. I blew gently on it and it began fluttering its wings, revealing the bright pink underwing. it has been cooler the last few days in the mid eighties. there weren't any plants in the parking lot but there are several large ash trees nearby as well as suburban yards with various plants.
