Coordinator notes: Hi Nancy, Sorry to have taken so long to ID for submission. I should get these done in the next few days....wrapping things up for this year. This sighting is what I think I explained to you before; I consider the high altitude, odd year flying (or even year) "Oeneis chryxus" to represent the species Oeneis calais, not chryxus. Oeneis chryxus flies only in EVEN numbered years and 10,000 ft and below. As I remember, you had one or two of these from up above Crested Butte in Gunnison County a couple years ago that I probably stated the same thing. Mike
