Observation notes: Third Buckeye photographed at the demonstration gardens today, though there were many more about. This one is feeding on some Purpletop Vervain in the butterfly bed. It also rotated around in increments on the blossom every couple of seconds. Size: Approx. 1.75 - 2" wingspan. Weather: 90 degrees, 70% humidity, sunny muggy skies.
