Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This was the other Monarch I saw at the county extension demonstration gardens today, sailing in and out of the butterfly beds. The underside of this one's wings were more of a faded, golden yellow color. And it seemed to prefer the Purpletop Vervain. Size: Approx. 4.25" wingspan. Weather: 91 degrees, 70% humidity, sunny muggy skies.
