Observation notes: Photograph was taken in the main parking lot of the Chippewa Nature Center. The butterfly was feeding on a large bunch of bee balm, spending a good chunk of time on each flower. The weather was partly sunny and pleasant, with the temperature in the high 70 degrees F.
