Coordinator notes: The Mormon Fritillary (a worn female). This is the most common frit at higher altitude in Colorado. Callippe is found lower and flies mostly in June and July. It is larger and has a distinctive green disc on the underside of the hindwings. Sometimes it is tough to get pictures of the underside but they are best for identifications. Mike
