Observation notes: I found the giant moth on the wood floor of my office - a lit hallway to the hotel entrance! I walked past it a few times thinking it was an old crumpled oak leaf until I realised there were non such trees on property! It’s camouflage was very good at a distance! On closer inspection it remained still as it must have for hours. I tried to move it into the palm of my hand but that flustered it, so I settled for just getting it back outside. The outside temp was 73F and the humidity 61% and no wind which is unusual here! I think there was a brief light Rain shower...
