Observation notes: Saw this specimen resting on the branch of an Evergreen after a good rain. It was a cool and cloudy evening with a Temp of appts 75-80 degrees F.
The BF was in a resting mode and we could only see the wings in the closed position. The body was smooth & light colored w/ red stripes. There were no flowering plants in the immediate area---but it had just rained (so perhaps sheltering in the evergreen tree).
