Observation notes: The moth was on a young cedar tree, flexing its wings open and closed for a long while (we watched it for about 15 minutes) - it looked brand new immaculate and every hair alive and bright. What a stunning creature! Furry and marvellous, enourmous! Seemed larger than a monarch.
