Observation notes: Saw this skipper in another open meadow at the dog park where there were tall grasses and sedges, wild cinquefoil, various milkweeds, other wildflowers and some Deptford pink wildflowers, which is what it landed on and stayed on for about a minute or so, then flew to another Deptford pink. Size: Approx. 2.25-2.5" wingspan. Weather: 79 degrees, 35% humidity, clear blue skies.
