Observation notes: Barely saw these two monarchs mating in the leaves of a sawtooth sunflower at Baker Wetlands. First I thought it was just one, but then when I got closer they flew away, attached, to about 25' away. A pond was about 20 yards from them. Weather: 73 degrees, approx. 80% humidity, light breeze, partly sunny skies.
