Observation notes: Several of these hairstreaks observed along the trail. The one in the photo was sipping nectar from chamise (Adenostoma-fasciculatum). Area has a chaparral habitat, with a lot of ceanothus in the area including green-bark ( Ceanothus spinosus) and big pod (Ceanothus megacarpus).
