Observation notes: Also out were California Tortoiseshells, Common Ringlets, Mourning Cloaks, and many Painted Ladies. from mid 50s at start to mid 60s at end. 5-mile hike from Carrissa Court to Lake Ilsanjo and back. Almost exactly when and where I saw this species last year.
