Coordinator notes: By the same reasoning as 1196888, it is an Eastern. But in this case there is also one feature which clearly says Eastern. The long straight black line that crosses the forewing and the centre of the hindwing meets the thin black line along the wing margin in a junction the shape of a wide letter U. In the Canadian TS the line along the wing margin is wider, and the junction is more like a narrow letter V. Ross Layberry
