Observation notes: This Monarch was just about 6 feet away from the Viceroy I had just photographed, also on one of the tall sunflowers, but feeding on the flower's nectar. Size: Approx. 4" wingspan. Weather: Nice, approx. 80 degrees, blue skies with a few clouds, light winds.
