Observation notes: Skittish behavior, bouncy flight low to the ground. Found in moist Bottom Land Forest with Giant Switchcane (Arundinaria gigantea) and cypress knees jutting up from the forest floor. Observed flying with Carolina and Gemmed Satyrs, Lace-winged Road-Side Skipper, Tawny Emperor, Southern Pearly-eye, and Underwing Moths.
