Observation notes: Taking a photo of the purple ironweed at the dog park in a meadow (that's suffering from much-needed rain), and this skipper flew right onto it as I was taking the photo. It stayed on it as the wind blew it around. Weather: Approx. 89 degrees, 35% humidity. Size: Approx. 1.75-2"
