Observation notes: Saw this skipper on some of the catmint (or a light blue salvia?) in one of the butterfly beds at a park. Nearby flowers (in this bed) included pink Angelonia, yellow daisies, purple potato vine, magenta zinnias and some spirea shrubs. Across the sidewalk were more beds that also included tropical milkweed. Many species of butterflies and insects seemed to be swarming the beds. Weather: 80 degrees, 40% humidity. Size: 1.5-1.75" approx.
