Observation notes: Warming on a rock After dog and i disturbed it, First Flight was Short to another rock, Seemed quite large. last time it flew we followed it for a long way until it flew over willow bushes, and we gave it up. Seemed large and a strong flier May have seen others at this and other locations as lots of large Lep's were flying lots were moths thought this was at first but a friend told me to look for this! And you also said these have been spotted this year. Thanks for sending me up this way good rain the day before and again this night, lightning started the fire that is probably still raging farther west! Also Sierra Sulphur in this area! Will Post others as well not sure what all i saw but you will let me know Thanks So Very Much Ken for Doing what you do! And Thanks for sending me up here Great Tip! Rain On and Off Grass and Trees Wet Shoes Wet quickly Walking in Meadow found this on edge of Stand of Pinion Pines! Meadow / Rocky Area Early very Early to this spot saw nothing fly for a long time But the retriever Started working the meadow and soon things started flying mostly sulfurs Very Green two Bright yellow will post!
