Observation notes: Seen on the ground among rocks and dirt very close to the pond with quite a bit of brush and trees around it. Remained in the same spot for about five minutes while quite a few Eastern-tailed Blues flew around it. Looked like it was feeding on a drop of mud. Weather was extremely hot and humid (approx. 98 degrees, 70% humidity). Size: Approx. 1.25-1.5" from top of wingtip to bottom of legs, large.
