Observation notes: Sunny, 85F, found on mulch in garden, on back, struggling to turn over. Placed moth on flat area right side up, flapped wings frantically continuing to flip over on back. After about 5 minutes, and placing right side up, has remained still moving head slightly. Wing span 6 1/2 inches.
