Observation notes: In dry Stream Bed Several Chasing each other up and down open areas, stopping to post in territory's seemed like male behavior to me? dry hot mid to high seventies felt humid not a lot of nectar in area buckwheat just starting to bloom. Mustard also blooming have seen these use both of these, did not observe any feeding going on just fighting and sunning! also stayed closed wing constantly, saw much fresher one yesterday but would not pose!
