  Sighting 1160660

Observation date: May 31, 2018
Submitted by: Tim Shortell
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Feeding on willow blossoms over water, hence I was unable to get a more crisp picture. The lack of definition of the underwing makes me unsure of any identification as to species.
Status: Resident

Verified date: July 05, 2018
Coordinator notes: The picture on the underside is good enough to positively identify as the Satyr Anglewing (prefer that name to "Comma"). Interestingly plain, relatively unmarked wings surfaces. Usually there is some "bark" looking texture. Mike
