Observation notes: The moth landed on the sock of a co-worker at the Co-op gas station in Lorette, Manitoba. I took it onto my sleeve and tried to put it in a place where it wouldn't be run over by cars. It attempted to fly away at first but didn't seem like it could. After putting it in the flower pot it started to vibrate it's wings. (From what I understand that behaviour is to warm up it's flight muscles) After a little while it flew away.
Weather was clear and not very windy at all. Early morning.
