Coordinator notes: Glad you had a photo of the underside, although from the upperside it looked suspiciously like the Satyr Anglewing, not a Hoary (or Zephyr) Anglewing. Notice how more brightly colored overall the top side of the wings are compared to the Hoary. More uniformly brown on the uns in the spring makes this an unmistakable but not too common butterfly in spring or later in the summer (they overwinter as adults also like the Hoary) Mike
