Observation notes: Likely a male. Wings to have sustained some damage, a little ragged around the edges. Found basking on (perhaps) some sort of Lonicerum.

Coordinator notes: I can verify the species but not the subspecies. This could be taxonomic oversplitting and the distribution of each in the Bay area is confused-Ken Davenport
