Coordinator notes: That is actually a buckmoth (or sheepmoth) not a bee or butterfly. These are day flying moths. This one is a female and it looks like the hindwings are damaged or deformed. The caterpillar host is often sagebrush but some other hardwood-broad leaf shrubs are also used.
