Coordinator notes: I'm pretty sure this is a P. isabella instar without any black bands, something I've encountered frequently (and confirmed by keeping the instars until they eclose) but for which I don't find much photographic evidence on MPG or other sites. These instars are highly variable with regards to banding, of course, and some appear to have little or no banding at all. The tight presentation and density of hair make this unlikely to be Estigmene acrea, for example, and certainly not Spilosoma virginiensis. Others may have different opinions but I'm pretty certain about this. JRains
