Observation notes: Observed this monarch (alongside a black swallowtail) on our butterfly bushes at the garden center I work at. Would sail around in circles, then land on the butterfly bushes, nectar, then fly around again, and come back to them. Approx. size: 3–3.25" (from belly to wingtip) Weather: Approx. 88 degrees
