Observation notes: Sunny, no wind, about 90 degrees. I estimated about 5- 7 butterflies. They were flying around and sitting on rocks and tall grass. I observed that their habitat was mangroves. I believe that it is a black mangrove buckeye butterfly because we researched it. We compared a picture of the butterfly we saw to one that we found on the computer.
