Observation notes: One of three Monarch butterflies I found in the fields of Tarrywile Park and the only one I could get a picture of. It appeared to be a male, due to the large black dots on each hind wing. It seemed rather comfortable with my presence, as I was able to get within a foot away from it before it decided to fly off.
