Observation notes: Attracted to MV lamp / blacklight in rural residential neighborhood dominated by hardwoods (liriodendron, maple, oak, sweet gum). Warm, ~75 F, no wind, clear sky. My apologies for the quality of this photo taken with my handheld digital microscope that I use for micromoths. Seconds before I could take a shot with the DSLR, the moth took off and never returned. Not sure if this is "orange enough" to rule out D. ventralis.
