Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: My 3 yr old son (4 in Aug) found him on my bottom! Had weeded flower bed- Coleus, Begonia, Celosia, Salvia, Marigolds and one strawberry plant. Sat down on porch for a bit before go inside to get son a drink. In hanging baskets on porch are spider plant & blue moon viola. When inside my son spotted it on my bottom! He was getting upset over the big "bug" I had on my bottom. I shook my shorts and this guy fell to the floor. Took it outside to better observe it. It's sitting on a stick to get better pictures. Temperature was roughly 83°, light wind and lil humity. Turned to my Facebook friends for help identifying and they all said tomato worm. But since it didn't like anything I've seen before I researched it. Hours later I found this sight and I do believe it is Morning Glory Prominent Schizura Ipomoeae!
