Observation notes: This female Monarch was observed above a pile of rocks and boulders on some Panicled Asters and grasses on the outside road of a farm between south Lawrence and Ottawa, Kansas. Observed at least 4-5 monarchs in the same area. Weather: Approx. 70 degrees, 55% humidity, calm occasional breezes. Size: Approx. 4.25–4.5"
