Observation notes: Was flying around a gas station by my house. Landed on my leg and I snapped the shot. Very large. I see the listed size is up to 5 7/8", but I'm pretty sure this one was well over 6" with it's full wingspan. The picture shows it resting on my knee. It flew away before I could get my hand close for a reference.
