Observation notes: Aaron's Skipper has not previously been found in Decatur County, GA, but both Cech & Tudor and Glassberg show the range as extending into Decatur County. This individual and several others were photographed near the backwaters of Lake Seminole in habitat similar to the habitat where Aaron's Skipper has been found in Ware and Lanier Counties. This identity of this individual was confirmed by Linda Cooper of Florida, who sees lot of Aaron's every year and who is one of the best field lep experts I know. She says that Aaron's sometimes lack the "long division dots" above and below the pale ray. She was certain of the identification.
