Observation notes: I saw several on this day at this location. Earlier this month (2016-06-08) there were probably more than a dozen of them along the trail.

Coordinator notes: With Wood-Nymphs in Santa Barbara County, specify whether dry oak woodland or tall grassy meadows. Female Cercyonis pegala can also look like that and that species does get into Santa Barbara County though very rare-Ken Davenport
