Observation notes: The night before, on 5/26/2016, we saw what we thought was a hummingbird feeding on the jasmine from our kitchen window. Then on the 27th, around 7 pm, we saw this insect on the flower pot. This is also near the jasmine. We think it is a rustic Sphinx moth.
