Observation notes: Sighted low near trailside in Ransom Caynon (Lubbock Co.), Texas on small Thelasperma folifolium and Melanpodium leucanthum. This female(?) was basking and nectaring in warmth of afternoon sun. Weather was warm (lower 70's) after a cool (upper 40's) morning. Partly cloudy, mildly breezy conditions.
