Observation notes: Observed in late afternoon visiting flowers along a wooded trail at the National Butterfly Center, Mission, Texas. Observed again for a few hours the following morning (December 22, 2013) in same general area, before flying southward.

Coordinator notes: BAMONA lists this species as Lycorea halia, as does bugguide.net, but an internet search also shows it as L. cleobaea and L. Lycorea halia cleobaea. SAT
