Coordinator notes: The Long-tailed Skipper and Esmeralda Longtail are quite similar, and highly variable. That said, the FW spotting is very good for Esmeralda, though Long-tailed will show a similar pattern. Looking at the uppermost two HW spots, the trailing HW spot is slightly smaller, which supports Esmeralda. Also supporting Esmeralda is the fact that the white along the rearmost HW band is strong and doesn't extend very far up the band's trailing edge.
