Coordinator notes: Either Xanthotype urticaria or X. sospeta. Bugguide.net says the following: Work done by Jeremy DeWaard shows that DNA barcodes for urticaria and sospeta are identical. The two species appear to be inseparable by COI sequence data, and genitalia differences are quite variable and ambiguous (save for the shape of the aedeagus in some populations). This indicates the possibility the two are a single species, however, no official revision has been published to date reflecting as such.
