Coordinator notes: Don Lafontaine states that of the two reddish brown Matigramma in Arizona, "rubrosuffusa is common only in eastern (White Mountains) and central (Prescott area, Flagstaff) Arizona (very rare in SE AZ) and the similar emmilta is common from southeast Arizona to west Texas." (Moths of Southeast Arizona)
