Coordinator notes: Up here in SLO county, one of my favorite moths, Proserpinus lucidus is flying. It's a green winter sphingid, which flies after the first several soaking rains, I think. Keep an eye out in the right habitat in your area (probably anywhere with Clarkia, or other some other members of the evening primrose family) and you may find this interesting species.
