Observation notes: 84F sunny. My niece found another butterfly in our glass porch at the main entrance of our house. The butterfly was not tagged, and the left front wing was torn, but it was still a strong flyer. It did not drink any flower nectar while my niece had it.
The time was 5:00 pm. This was at 305 E. Washington Mt. Pleasant Ia.
