Observation notes: This moth flew indoors at night and rapidly flew around the room, banging against the wall and ceiling. We caught it and released it outdoors. The next morning, I opened the door and found the moth well camouflaged on the welcome mat. I picked it up and touched its fuzzy body. I placed it on a Rose of Sharon. When I checked a moment later, it was gone.
