Observation notes: I'm submitting this pic of P. polyxenes mostly because I've seen very few of them this year (2025), probably due to a cold, wet spring. Usually my parsley plants are full of instars (which I transfer to cages), but this year I've seen no instars and only three imagos, this one being the most recent. It's also very late in the year to see P. polyxenes, so I was surprised to see this somewhat battered female.
