Observation notes: This is the first Monarch I've seen in 2025--he was enjoying the Common Milkweed, but there are many other milkweeds in the area including Swamp, Sullivant's, Whorled, Spider, and probably others. Last year was such a bad year here for observing Monarchs. I hope this year is better.

Coordinator notes: It was a bad season here in Harper Co. for Monarch's last year as well. I usually have them by the dozens on Mexican Sunflower in fall, last year maybe three. Thanks! JAMES STEEN
