Coordinator notes: Female. This is a difficult one. What favors Banded over a Hickory: Postmedian row of bars/stripes on the ventral FW doesn't widen as much as expected as you would see in a Hickory, and are not offset from the general line near the costal margin. Also, the antennae nudum (end of antenna club) aren't orange in color, which you would see in a Hickory. The classic blue patch does appear to be longer in this individual, but doesn't project quite as far inward as in most Hickory individuals, and can be seen in some Banded. -jmgesell
